Subhrajit Mitra (b. 1976) is an Indian director and screenwriter in Bengali cinema. Avijatrik (2021) is a black-and-white adaptation of the later portion of Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay’s Aparajito that returns to Satyajit Ray’s character Apu in adulthood; it won the Silver Lotus for Best Feature Film in Bengali, with a second Silver Lotus for its cinematographer Supratim Bhol.
