Ritwick Chakraborty (b. 1977) is the leading character actor of post-2010 Bengali cinema, working almost entirely outside the star system. He led three films that won National Film Awards in successive years — Kaushik Ganguly’s Shabdo, Pradipta Bhattacharyya’s Bakita Byaktigato, and Aditya Vikram Sengupta’s near-wordless Asha Jaoar Majhe. He won the first Filmfare Award Bangla for Best Actor in 2014.
